Starting this new chapter and going through Formal Recruitment can be an anxious time, so here we give you some words of wisdom from a few of our own sisters!
Dear PNM's
As you embark on your journey through sorority recruitment, I wanted to share some words of encouragement and advice. First and foremost, be unapologetically yourself throughout this process. It's natural to feel nervous, but remember that the right sorority will embrace and appreciate you for who you are.
Sorority life has been an incredibly rewarding experience for me, and as I enter my senior year, I can't help but reflect on the amazing memories, friendships, and personal growth it has brought into my life. From philanthropy events to formals and sisterhood bonding, each moment has shaped me in unique ways.
As you go through recruitment, trust your instincts and follow your heart. Embrace this exciting journey with an open mind, and remember that this is an opportunity to not only find lifelong friends but also to develop leadership skills and make a positive impact on your community.
Wishing you the best of luck during recruitment and a phenomenal year
ahead. You've got this!
With sisterly love,

Dear PNM's
Going through recruitment is an extremely special and memorable experience! You will meet so many amazing individuals and learn about many different sisterhoods and philanthropies.
Going through recruitment and joining Alpha Phi has been one of my best decisions during my time at UNF. Since joining, I have met my best friends, taken on leadership positions, volunteered with my sisters, and created many unforgettable memories! Becoming a part of Greek Life has strengthened my confidence as a leader and given me a place to call home at UNF! I hope you have a great recruitment experience and find your forever sisterhood!
Love,

Dear PNM's
Going through recruitment is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! You will meet many wonderful people and hear about various sisterhoods and philanthropies. I was frightened and scared during recruitment since there were so many different great girls that I had met, but I decided to be in Alpha Phi because that was where I felt most at home and I already had an amazing bond with many of the sisters.
I've met my dearest friends, volunteered with my sisters, been a Greek ambassador for UNF, and had many wonderful memories since joining! Being a part of Greek Life has given me more confidence to step outside my comfort zone and a place to call home at UNF! I hope you have the best time experience going through recruitment and I can’t wait for you to find your sisterhood!
Love,
Emma Dresser
Dear PNM's
You are about to embark on the most amazing journey of your life! You’re going to meet the most supportive women who will be there for you for the rest of your life. I made the decision to go through recruitment in my freshman year when I felt lost and found my home in Alpha Phi.
Now, three years later I could not imagine my life without my sisters. They have pushed me out of my comfort zone and to heights I never could have imagined reaching. They’ve embraced me and let me be my true self to the fullest. Through Alpha Phi I’ve been given opportunities for leadership and have realized my career goals through these opportunities. I would not be where I am today without Alpha Phi. I know that recruitment may seem scary but I can promise we are cheering you on and will be there to greet you with open arms on bid day.
Love,
Tara Willis
